As sunbutter spreads across the country, Fargo company thrives

With a goal to provide an alternative spread to kids with nut allergies, Dan Hofland VP of Sunbutter would drive to grocery stores with samples in the back of his pick-up. Now Sunbutter has gained popularity with kids and parents alike and is in every state, 17,000 stores, and has a revenue of around $20 million. N.J. Assembly Committee OKs Bill Requiring Labeling on Genetically Modified Foods

On Thursday October 9, 2014 a bill that would require genetically modified foods to be labeled was approved. Embracing the idea that an informed consumer is the best consumer the bill believes that it is good public policy to allow people to make informed choices.
