As sunbutter spreads across the country, Fargo company thrives
With a goal to provide an alternative spread to kids with nut allergies, Dan Hofland VP of Sunbutter would drive to grocery stores with samples in the back of his pick-up. Now Sunbutter has gained popularity with kids and parents alike and is in every state, 17,000 stores, and has a revenue of around $20 million. Lucini Premium Select Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Founders Reserve Premium Select Extra Virgin Olive Oil were honored in the medium intensity and robust intensity categories.
The New York International Olive Oil Competition is one of the most elite competitions with over 650 extra virgin olive oil from 25 countries competing. They are rated by an international expert panel of judges in a double blind tasting rating each oil's fruitiness, pungency and bitterness while noting any defects not allowed in extra virgin olive oil by law.
